In the humanitarian Sector we supported all war victims. However, our focus is on women and children, as they are suffering the most from the crisis in the English-speaking regions in Cameroon.  Due to the pandemic, it was not easy in 2021 and 2022 to carry out sustainable development projects such as vocational training for refugees and displaced people. Very few companies were willing to engage our Trainees to complete their internship.

We carried out online counselling services to traumatized war victims, especially girls who were forced into prostitution due to the plight and provided emergency aid to war affected persons such as Anglophone refugees in Nigeria and Internally Displaced women and girls in Cameroon.   Our activities include the provision of food, basic needs, medical care, providing sleeping facilities to IDPs, female political prisoners, other war affected persons in Cameroon and for the refugees in Nigeria.

Conflict and crisis have a different impact on women, men, girls, and boys. Some may be denied their rights just because of their gender. Others may be exposed to sexual violence and abuse or are at risk of being dragged into illegal armed groups.

One in five displaced women in Anglophone humanitarian crises is a survivor of some form of gender-based violence. The risk of sexual violence is very high in the war-torn English-Speaking regions of Cameroon, where law have ceased to exist, violence has intensified, and many civilians have been uprooted from their day-to-day lives.

A recent report of the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in Cameroon (UNOCHA) has revealed that close to 2 million people in Cameroon’s conflict-hit Northwest and Southwest regions. are affected by the war. The pandemic is not making things easier.
